This page explains the terms and conditions for purchases from Splendo Furniture. By using this website, placing any order(s) and or using any service that we provide, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
Splendo Furniture reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions periodically without notice to you and any changes will take effect on the day they are posted. Any such changes will be posted in this section of the website and your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to be bound by the prevailing Terms & Conditions. You are encouraged to read these Terms & Conditions carefully.
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery (if any).
Payment & Security Information:
You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
Paying for your order can be done with the following forms:
-deposit payment of £50 (the outstanding amount shall be paid in cash upon receiving the products or where the product is sent by courier the rest of the amount due must be received in our account before goods will be passed to the carrier);
-payment in full;
-payment can be made via internet bank accounts, in any bank branch or through PayPal.
Ordering & Availability
You can place your order by phone.
We will ask you to provide us with your real name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and other requested information.
We will give you an estimated quote for delivery prior to you placing an order.
We will then send an e-mail with the information needed to make bank trasfer, name and numbers of our account and what will you need to type in reference field.
As soon as we receive money on our bank account / notification from PayPal system or by the next working day, we shall send you out a personal email stating the particulars of the order. This will then be followed by a telephone call from us to confirm that all the order details are correct and to ensure that we can be of maximum assistance to you. This will also provide you with the opportunity to settle any queries you may have regarding your order. Once we are both satisfied with the order, arrangements will be made to deliver or to prepare delivery of your order.
We use a variety of delivery methods, depending on the size of your order and the location to which it is to be delivered.
The delivery charge is based on the distance.
If the goods you ordered are in stock we aim to deliver as quickly as possible. Normally delivery is within 2-4 weeks from the date of receipt of payment. Please note some items may be delivered sooner or later than the above stated period.
After you place your order with us, we will contact you to provide you with an idea of when the order can be delivered to you. However, due to occasional circumstances beyond our control, we may not be able to deliver the product within the arranged time, in which case we will inform you as soon as possible to notify you of this.
Your order will only be dispatched when every item is available. This means that the expected delivery date will be that of the longest lead-time item.
Once a delivery date has been booked you must be able to take delivery on that day. Orders can be loaded on to the delivery vehicle up to 2 days before delivery and cannot be unloaded until all deliveries have been made. For this reason, any changes to delivery must reach us at least 3 working days before your planned delivery date otherwise there will be failed delivery fee payable before we can re-arrange delivery.
If there is no one to accept the goods when we attempt delivery, your order will be returned to our warehouse and a failed delivery fee will be payable before we can re-arrange delivery. If you decide to cancel the order instead of have your order re-delivered then the delivery fee will be deducted from your refund.
You must check there is suitable access to your delivery address and that we can deliver your item/s of furniture. This includes access and parking for a large delivery vehicle. Any refunds due to access and/or size issues will have failed delivery fee deducted.
Failed delivery fee is the same amount we have quoted you when placing the order.
The goods will be left inside your premises at the safest convenient location. Delivery drivers as standard will not carry items upstairs, and all transportation of your goods to a location upstairs is entirely carried out at the contractors risk and discretion.PLEASE NOTE “carry items upstairs” also covers flats which are not located on the ground floor. All transportation of your goods to a location upstairs is entirely carried out at the driver discretion. We do not take resposibility for any damage occuring in such transportation.
Once delivery has been made to your door you will be responsible for them.
A signature is required on delivery. By placing an order with us, you are authorising us to accept a signature from another person on your behalf at your delivery address if you are not present at the time of delivery. Under exceptional circumstances, you may be able to give instruction explaining if and where you would like your order to be left if no one is expected to be present at the time of delivery, such as with a neighbour.
You must inspect all goods on delivery and advise us of any shortfalls or visible damage, we cannot accept any claim for damage where the product is not unwrapped and inspected at the time of delivery. Please make sure that you inform the delivery person, who will make a note on the delivery document.
Damaged or faulty products will where ever possible be fixed by sending out a furniture restorer to your address.
Ownership of goods shall remain with Splendo Furniture and shall not pass to you until the agreed price together with all other sums due from you to Splendo Furniture have been paid in full and goods have been delivered to your permisses.
You may choose to collect your items from our warehouse. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are intending to do this.
Disposal of old furniture
We cannot collect or dispose of your old furniture. However we ask that you do not dispose of your old sofa, table or bed if at all possible until delivery has been made as, in the unlikely event of a delivery problem arising, we cannot guarantee a loan piece of furniture.
Colours and finishes
Photographs displayed on our website and display models and samples in our stores are representative of the finished product. Whilst every effort will be made to match all colours and finishes, goods are supplied on the understanding that there may be slight dye, shade and grain variations, particularly with natural products such as wood. Leather products are made from quality hides and may not be uniform in colour or texture and will show natural marks and scars. Where stated, some images have been digitally created to illustrate the colour options available for this range. These colours will be affected by your monitor and by your printer and therefore may not be 100% accurate to the finished product.
Descriptions, Prices and Product Information
All sizes quoted are approximate. Size and product descriptions are given in good faith from our suppliers' information. Products are manufactured to perform within the appropriate industry measurement tolerances.
Due to the shortage of certain new raw materials, changes in legislation or safety requirements some products supplied by Splendo Furniture may have minor technical alterations and could differ slightly in actual construction from the goods shown in sample or pattern form. We state any changes that are made will result in a performance of an equally high or improved standard. The quality coding will remain the same and the quality guarantee will continue to apply.
All goods supplied are guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period of 12 months from date of delivery in respect of faulty workmanship or materials. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Clearance items that are sold as seen are not covered by any guarantee.
Not Covered Under Warranty - Naturally occurring phenomena as illustrated below.
Wood: The natural beauty of wood furniture: Wood furniture will have natural variation in grain and colour as well as inherent characteristics such as mineral streaks, pitch pockets, striping, and insect markings. These are not considered quality defects. Slight variations in appearance may result from normal expansion and contraction of wood as it responds to climatic changes in the home.
Glass: Minor scratches, small air bubbles, surface waviness, or lightly pitted areas occur naturally during glass manufacturing. These are not considered quality defects.
Fabric: Natural variations occur during fabric manufacturing. The are not considered quality defects.
Leather: The natural beauty of leather: Leather has natural wrinkles, marks and scars. Variations in colour and texture are genuine and natural features of leather.
Returns and Cancellations
An order may be cancelled at any time between the placement of the order and 7 days following delivery of the goods.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason you may, within seven days of delivery, contact us to notify that you wish to return some or all items from your order.
You can either arrange to return the goods yourself to address specified by us at your own cost or you may ask us to collect the goods in which case you will be charged by us the same amount you paid for original delivery when placing an order.
You will be responsible for return delivery costs which will be deducted from your refund.
Goods must be returned to us in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery and in their original packaging. Items which are not adequately packaged at time of collection may not be collected and you will be charged by us the same amount you paid for original delivery when placing an order.
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of goods and after we have inspected them for damage. We reserve the right to withhold all or part of your refund if items are returned damaged.
Mattresses, pillows and sofa beds can only be returned if they are unopened. Mattresses, pillows and sofa beds which have been opened and slept on cannot be returned. If you wish to test a mattress please keep it wrapped until you are sure you want to keep it.
If you do not comply with your obligations above, we will not agree to the refund or may make a reasonable charge to cover any costs that we incur (for example in respect of wasted collection journeys or goods that you have damaged or lost). Your statutory rights are not affected.
Made to Order Products
Made to order products where custom fabrics or colours are selected have been produced specifically for you, therefore no refunds or exchanges can be made after 7 days of placing your order.
Made to order products also includes made to measure products where sizes are amended to your specification.
Self assembly furniture cannot be returned once assembly is part or fully completed, unless the item is found to be faulty.
No refund will be made due to access and/or size issues. If you only made deposit/partial payment we will still require payment of the outstanding amount.

Shop "Splendo Furniture" cares about its customers!
We are confident that we offer our customers the best prices!
Therefore, if found in another store the same product at a lower price, we will sell it to you even cheaper!
How to do it?
Just send us a link to a store that offers a more attractive price for the same product, and we will after checking the information provided, sell you same product cheaper than the competition!
Condition: Sold in another shop article must be new, previously not repaired, can not come be exdisplay.
It also can not be on sale.
Another shop must be located in the UK.
We reserve the right to withdraw from the contract in the 'Guarantee lowest price' if the price of the product in another shop is undervalued ( price of product does not cover the cost of purchase or production).
Cancellations by Splendo Furniture
We reserve the right not to accept an order if:
- We do not have the stock to fulfill the order
- If we are unable to deliver the product to your area
- If an item was incorrectly priced or described on the web site
- If your payment was not authorised
- If you have not complied with our terms and conditions of sale
* If an order is cancelled by Splendo Furniture, any payments made to us will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation.
Splendo Furniture are committed to protecting your privacy and any information that you provide will only be used lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation.
You should be aware that this site is monitored and may capture information about your visit that will help us to improve the quality of our service.

The information that you provide will be used:
